Project Superintendent

Classification: Exempt
Status: Full-Time

The Project Superintendent will oversee all phases of construction from civil work through certificate of occupancy. Coordinate subcontractors, manage material deliveries, and ensure projects stay on schedule, safe, and built to the highest standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for quality control and inspection approval from the municipal court and/or governing authorities from civil construction through certificate of occupancy.
  • Performs daily inspection of project and provides updated, accurate schedules for subcontractors/suppliers.
  • Prepares daily progress reports.
  • Leads efforts to promote safety on projects and monitors subcontractor’s work in complying with the company’s safety program.
  • Conducts weekly safety meetings and logs records of the meeting minutes.
  • Responsible for maintaining site compliance with environmental regulations and stormwater management requirements, including proper documentation and reporting.
  • Responsible for correction on any deficient workmanship and sub-standard work.
  • Responsible for making sure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manages the workload of the field associates at the project to achieve the desired results.
  • Mentors and trains construction associates of the policies, procedures, systems and technical construction means, and methods used by FORM.
  • Maintains organized and up-to-date construction documents on-site, ensuring all plans, specifications, surveys, inspections, change orders and project records are easily accessible.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction is required.
  • 4 – 6 years prior related work experience.

Project Manager

Classification: Exempt
Status: Full-Time

The Project Manager at FORM will lead construction projects from start to finish—managing teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects stay on time and on budget.

Essential Functions:

  • Proven experience managing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Strong understanding of multifamily or commercial construction trades and the ability to analyze construction documents and read blueprints.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with project superintendents, staff, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversight of project design, engineering, procurement, and construction execution.
  • Responsible for meeting safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.
  • Ability to interpret and manage contracts, permits, specifications, drawings, and other project documentation.
  • Experience in bid review, subcontractor negotiations, and award recommendations.
  • Skilled in tracking and managing contracts, change orders, amendments, and project records.
  • Proficient in conducting and leading job site meetings and enforcing project protocols.
  • Familiarity with construction software tools including scheduling, estimating, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent judgment, follow-through, and sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience on large commercial projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.

Project Engineer

Classification: Exempt
Status: Full-Time

The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting project success by managing the flow of information between the construction team, subcontractors, consultants, and owners. This role helps drive the project forward by contributing to design, engineering, procurement, and construction coordination, while ensuring progress aligns with safety, quality, and budget goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Strong communication skills to manage project information flow between internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership.
  • Knowledge of construction procedures, safety practices, and contract documentation.
  • Proficient in reading construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Ability to support all phases of a project including design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
  • Experience assisting with subcontractor bidding, scope development, and award negotiations.
  • Skilled in managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and subcontractor pay applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and project scheduling tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to support cost control efforts including budget updates and monthly cost tracking.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to support field staff and drive timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in project management or a similar role in the construction industry is preferred.
  • This position involves work at a construction site where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
